DESIGN CONCEPT A headpiece that gives you a different attitude the moment you put it on. Because attitude matters. A little romantic, a little raw, a little proud, a little sharp, a little unruly. Untamed, unapologetic. We’d been thinking about this piece for a long time, but never quite knew how to make it real. Then one day, while brushing our teeth, the solution suddenly came to us. A horizontal wrap of faux leather, secured with rivets and adjustable metal hardware, finished with long feathers. We chose lightweight materials so it wouldn’t weigh down the head—easy enough to wear all day, even for a friend trying it on for the first time. So, once again, it comes back to restraint… and what? Rivets and straps feel almost written into our DNA. We never seem to get tired of them. When you wear it, play “She’s in Parties” by Bauhaus. Or “Lucretia My Reflection” by The Sisters of Mercy. Or Grace Jones’ “I’ve Seen That Face Before.” And, of course, Siouxsie and the Banshees’ “Spellbound.”
